International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

On 25 November 2025 Sacred Heart Girls' High School came together to observe the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The special assembly began with a poignant prayer, soul-stirring hymns, and a themed story setting the tone for a thought-provoking program.

Rev. Sr. Mary Margaret delivered a heart-wrenching message, urging students to be the voice for the voiceless and hope for the hopeless. Her words awakened hearts and minds, inspiring a sense of responsibility to support women in need and to thus promote their rights and dignity.

Vice Principal Ms. Jozina Braggs beautifully emphasized the significance of 'Colour the World Orange Day' and a zero tolerance for violence against women and girls which further reinforced the importance of this global movement.

As the program came to a close, a newfound sense of awareness and responsibility resonated in every heart and mind. The students of Sacred Heart Girls' High School left with a renewed commitment to creating a safer, more compassionate world for all women.
