Sex Education Program
A two-day Sex Education program was conducted by the school counsellors for students of Classes 9 and 11 on the 18th and 19th of December 2024. The sessions aimed to provide students with accurate information about biological aspects, relationships, marriage, and the importance of commitment.
The counsellors created a safe and inclusive environment where students felt comfortable discussing sensitive topics. They addressed misconceptions and emphasized the significance of informed decision-making, mutual respect, and healthy communication in relationships.
Through interactive discussions, the sessions allowed students to voice their concerns and seek clarity on personal and societal aspects of the subject. The counsellors answered questions with sensitivity, ensuring students felt supported and understood.
By fostering open dialogue, the program helped students develop a mature understanding of the complexities of relationships and personal responsibility. It also emphasized the importance of respecting boundaries and making choices aligned with their values.
This initiative reinforced the school’s commitment to holistic education by equipping students with the knowledge and confidence needed to navigate their personal and social lives responsibly.
